The Willys CJ5, first introduced in 1954, is a rugged, reliable,
and incredibly capable off-road vehicle. It's designed to conquer
any terrain, and its rugged construction and engineering have stood
the test of time. It's a timeless classic vehicle that is popular
with collectors and off-road enthusiasts to this day. The CJ5
continually proves its worth as one of the most trustworthy
vehicles for off-road exploration ever built.
The CJ5 Presented at auction features the following:
MECHANICAL - This Sharp Willys has the original drivetrain and runs
great. It does have an updated 12 volt electrical system. This CJ5
has recently been tuned it up and a new choke cable and valve cover
gasket installed.
EXTERIOR- The body is in nice shape with no rust issues. Comes with
a roll bar and no top. It has been resprayed at one time and still
looks great but does have a few imperfections from general use and
enjoying it.
INTERIOR- The interior is very simple on a Willy's with just the 2
front vinyl seats. The drivers seat does have a tear on the edge.
The fuel tank has been moved to the rear.
This Willys runs well and it drives good. The 4WD works well, the
engine runs very smooth and it drives down the road just like a
1958 Jeep! Top speed in a Willys is around 50 mph and its always
ready for an off-road adventure!
