1979 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible Karmann in Florida Blue with custom pin striping! The body is rust-free and the original paint still shines! The interior seats are in perfect condition. The top is in great working order, as well, and includes a new boot. This Beetle has been lovingly maintained and kept in heated storage with no winter driving. Car was purchased in California in 1999. This is a turn-key VW Beetle with only 32,901 miles. In 2024 all fuel lines were replaced and a new exhaust system installed. It runs like a dream! There is limited rust on the chrome wheels and hubcaps. This can be polished off with a wire brush, which has been done on two of the wheels.
For 1978 and 1979 the only German-built Beetle model available was the Super Beetle Convertible by Karmann. As German Beetle production would end in 1979, the last generation of Beetle's are highly sought-after by collectors and enthusiasts around the globe, especially in original German specification.
