The Basil family is dedicated to continually bringing you
excellence in automotive sales and service and has done so since
1951. Still another stunning beauty, a 1969 Chrysler 300
convertible is presented to you here by the Basil family for your
consideration. The Chrysler 300 series was introduced in 1955 and
was referred to as the ''letter series''. Initially, these cars
were intended to represent a fledgling offering of
performance-oriented vehicles. The earliest of the series was the
300C equipped with a 300 horsepower hemi engine and a coupe body
style, represented by the ''C''. The 1955 300C series Chrysler sold
1,725 units and maintained its high performance coupe status thru
1962. Thereafter, Chrysler dropped the ''C'' and added additional
body styles and engine options to their 300 series lineup. This
1969 Chrysler 300 convertible is a stunning representation of that
era. Powered by a stout 440 cubic inch engine and backed by a 727
torque flite automatic transmission, there is more than enough
power available for whatever your intended usage may be. Equipment
includes power steering, power brakes, dual exhaust and an upgraded
MSD ignition system providing smoother engine performance. The
chrome bumpers are in very nice overall condition and the deep
metallic maroon paint is perfectly complemented by magnum 500
wheels, master craft white letter tires and laser straight body
panels. The grain patterned black convertible top is another detail
that takes the visual effect of this gorgeous Chrysler 300 to the
next level. Slipping inside, we find a well appointed dash panel in
near perfect condition with an upgraded Kenwood AM/FM stereo,
neatly installed in place of the original radio. Comfortable strato
bucket seats are separated by a center fold down arm rest. The
overall white color interior treatment is accented nicely by the
contrasting black dash and carpeting color choice. We are very
pleased to have this Chrysler 300 in our inventory, it is a
pleasure to drive and its stunning appearance would cause it to be
the center of attention at any gathering of automotive enthusiasts.
