Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix which is in beautiful overall condition and was originally sold in Arizona.  This GP was owned by a mechanic for the last 10 years and he spent over 11K in maintenance over those years making this a turn key updated muscle car.  This GP comes with the original window sticker and several original manuals and numerous receipts from maintenance over the years.  This GP features a very nice repaint in the Factory White with a new black vinyl top, a stock Grey/Green cloth interior, a 400 Engine and a new automatic transmission, and the original window sticker and dealer books and numerous maintenance receipts.  This GP is finished in the very sought after color combination of White over Grey/Green cloth interior.

Exterior

The White GP exterior is in terrific overall condition.  This GP was treated to a professional repaint years ago and has a fantastic finish, a deep shine, and a smooth gloss.  The paint is in great overall condition and the vinyl roof was recently installed.  The gaps and lines are excellent on this car and the doors shut nicely with ease with no drop or sag.  Both bumpers are in excellent shape with a great shine and no pitting.  The front grill and license plate surround were replaced along with the front nose emblem.  The underside is very solid as well and in excellent condition with no visible rust issues or previous patches.  The Nitto tires are like new with full tread left and the 17" Rally wheels are new and in perfect shape.  The rear tire size is 285/40/17 and the fronts are 245/45/17.  All weather stripping and window sweeps appear to be new and have been replaced.  The trunk is solid and the trunk light still works and the original spare tire and jack are still in place along with a replacement trunk mat.  All glass is in good condition.

Interior

The Grey/Green cloth interior of this GP is in very nice stock condition.  The seat covers are in great condition with no excessive wear, rips or fading.  The original carpet is in good overall condition with but does have some wear due to age.  The original dash is in great condition with no cracks, no warping, and no fading.  The original stereo is still in place but currently not working.  The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact.  The headliner is in great overall shape and not falling down anywhere and no rips.  The rear package tray was recently replaced.  All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should including the cigarette lighter.  The horn, wipers, and blower motor on all speeds works.  A small tach was installed and works nicely.  This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This GP is in great mechanical condition and runs and drives very well.  Over $12,000 was spent in recent years sorting and upgrading this car by the previous owner who was a mechanic.  The original numbers matching Pontiac 400 engine runs strong and was rebuilt years ago.  Here are some items that were addressed in recent years.  A new transmission and cooler kit and stall converter were installed.  An Edelbrock aluminum intake and carb. were installed.  A new steering box and linkage and end links were installed.  New front and rear shocks and coil springs were installed.  A new rear sway bar was installed.  A new flex fan was installed along with a performance mini starter.  A new alternator and battery were installed.  A new power steering pump was installed.  A new fuel pump and fuel lines were installed.  A new MSD distributor was added with new spark plugs and new wires.  Brakes were fully serviced including a new brake booster and new master cylinder.  New calipers and pads and hoses, new brake shoes and pads, etc.  Copies of service records receipts come with the car.  The exhaust on this GP was upgraded to performance Flowmaster mufflers with new headers which gives this GP a nice muscle car sound at idle and cruising speeds.  The brakes were recently serviced and stop well and do not pull to either side while stopping.  We have driven this car several times and it performs well and is always a joy to drive.  In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well.  This GP is a excellent driver which feels great on the road.  There is no smoke when starting or driving the car.  It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great.   Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.  This is a factory AC car and a few of the AC components were removed when the new intake was installed but those parts and brackets, hoses, etc come with the car.
