This 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 is an extremely reliable and well put together Land Rover Defender 110 that is powered by the extremely sought after TD5 turbo diesel engine, which is the holy grail of Land Rover engines. The TD5 just recently became eligible for US import, and there are not many for sale in the United States right now. The TD5 is a much better engine, and an overall better daily driver capable Defender due to its performance. The TD5 engine is mated to a 5 speed gearbox which shifts extremely smooth through all the gears with no issues.
We recently took the Defender on a 2,350 mile road trip throughout Canada and the North East of America, visiting various national parks, major cities, and having a blast while doing so! The Defender did not skip a beat and drove very smooth the entire time with not a single issue. This Defender is a great daily driver, and very reliable. The engine has always been very well serviced, and the entire vehicle was serviced recently as well by a Land Rover mechanic.
The exterior is repainted in Nardo Gray with Panoramic windows which gives the Defender a very nice and modern look.
