known about these giant slayers for years, but most people dismiss
them as a Grandma's grocery getter. That can be an embarrassing
mistake when one of these sleepers leaves your big block in a cloud
of its tire smoke! Lift the hood and you'll be greeted by the
numbers matching (E55, VD 9B361719) rebuilt 340 V8, the little
engine that could, that's been fortified with a Holley carburetor,
a Weiand aluminum intake manifold, and a COMP Cams hydraulic
camshaft. Additional features include the numbers matching A833
4-speed manual transmission (D21, VD 9B361719), correct Medium
Green Metallic paint (F5), correct black bench seat interior (L2X),
original Musicmaster AM radio (R11), correct black transverse
stripe (V8X), and B.F.G. Radial T/A's (205/70R14) wrapped around
classic Rallye wheels. This has been a local car for decades and
apparently our retired mechanic had attempted to buy it about
twenty times from the local postman here in Fredericksburg, TX!
This essentially 2-owner jewel was restored by nearby Boerne Stage
Kustoms around 2011 and still looks fresh. But this sweetheart is
