cosmetic refurbishment followed and included a repaint of the body
and frame in black, a powder-coating of the engine, and the
installation of two-tone brown and tan leather upholstery. Power
comes from a 230ci inline-six paired with a three-speed manual
transmission, and equipment includes turn signals, high-mount
taillights, chrome dash panels, an AM radio, and an under-dash
heater. This example was repainted black in 2018 and features
chrome bumpers with overriders, a hood ornament, running boards,
dual side-view mirrors, and high-mount taillights. The bright-work
was repleted, and replacement glass was also installed. The F-37
rode on a 117? wheelbase and featured a coil-sprung independent
front suspension as well as a live rear axle with leaf springs.
Stopping power is provided by hydraulic drums at all four corners.
