The Fiat Panda is a superutility car produced by the Italian car manufacturer FIAT in three series: the first, born in 1980 and designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. The first series was born in 1980 to fit between the 126 and 127 models. It inherited the air-cooled twin-cylinder engine from the first and the 903 cm³ four-cylinder from the second. In 1983, both the "S" version was marketed, which characterized the Panda 30 and the Panda 45 with more elegant fittings and the option of metallic gray paint (the Panda 30S and 45S had the same engines as the 30 and 45 but with improved interiors and with new external grille), and the all-wheel drive version, while in 1986 the Panda received a restyling, which also saw the adoption of a new diesel engine as well as the adoption of a new rear axle with suspensions inherited from the Autobianchi Y10, and takes on the name Supernova. It remained in production until the release of the next model in September 2003 and is the only Fiat super-utility car to have 3 doors. Around 1983 the Austrian company Steyr-Puch developed a complete four-wheel drive system (clutch, gearbox, three-part drive shaft, rear axle with included differential and brakes) for the subsequent release of the Panda 4x4 (type 153) . Launched in June of that year, the version (the first small transverse engine model to feature a 4WD system) was equipped with a 965 cm³ 48 hp engine derived from the one present in the Autobianchi A112; the four-wheel drive was manually selectable, with a reduced first gear (in normal conditions the start took place from the second and the fifth had the same ratio as the fourth in the normal Pandas). Weighing 740 kg, the car completed the kilometer from standstill in 38.8 sec and reached a top speed of 135 km/h. The assembly of the components on the body (reinforced compared to the normal model) took place in the Sicilian factory in Termini Imerese. The Panda 4x4 Sisley (Limited Edition), equipped with luxurious beige imitation leather and Alcantara seats, beige panels, dedicated instrument panel, beige carpet, inclinometer and velor headliner. Of this limited series it is also important to remember the rich standard equipment including headlight washers, air intake on the bonnet, dedicated roof rack, metallic paint available in three colours, ivory-coloured painted rims with "Panda 4x4 Sisley" studs, adhesive writing " 4x4 Sisley" on both doors, rear mud flaps with the stylized canoe-shaped logo. The latter stood out in many internal details to distinguish it.
