MaxMotive is pleased to offer this brawny 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1.
It boasts one of Ford's best ever engines, the 351 Cleveland V8,
fortified with Trick Flow aluminum heads, a Holley 4-barrel,
Offenhauser intake, headers, and MSD ignition. The result is a fine
running machine worthy of the Mach 1 moniker. The entire drivetrain
is upgraded to include a 4-speed manual transmission with Hurst
Shifter along with a 9-inch rear. A hefty dual exhaust system with
Borla ProXS mufflers delivers the desired tones. The car was
repainted in its original Raven Black with Light Pewter accents. It
features the correct rear wing and front spoiler plus rear window
louvers working with the chrome Magnum 500 wheels to complete the
iconic Mach 1 look. The interior picks up the color scheme with
black bucket seats with gray accents. Power steering and front disc
brakes aid in corralling this pony. An updated Alpine stereo takes
its place in the center stack. Staggered 215/65R15 and 235/60R15
BFGoodrich Radial T/A white letter tires provide the appropriate
appearance and handling. It comes with recent service receipts. A
radical departure from the previous design, the 1971 Mach 1 was
inspired by the Ford J-Car and the LeMans winning Ford GT Mk IV
that endowed Ford with some extra swagger. The aero advantages
worked on the dragstrip at more than 200mph on the legendary Blue
Max, Brutus, LA Hooker, and Mickey Thompson Funny Cars. The 1971
