The car was built in LA back in 64. The body had a rotisserie restoration done in 2008 and 09 and only has around a 1000 miles on it since then. The 318 CI engine was replaced with a Muscle Motors 505 CI crate engine built by MM in Michigan. The engine is hand built and balanced and has a hydraulic roller cam and lifters, steel crank, H Beam 4340 steel rods and other top line components. The heads are Stealth Aluminum that are ported and polished. They also have a 5 angle valve job on them. Lot of other heavy duty parts included in the engine and driveline. I installed a new 800 CFM Edlebrock AVS II Carb and have it set up right. There is a Holly double pumper carb that comes with the car. The car has the 18 spline A833 4 speed transmission and a Gear Vendors Overdrive unit added on. The rear end is a Dana 60 with 4:10 gears. The car also has a CalTrac rear suspension that is set up for the street. The body and underneath are like brand new.
The seats have the original upholstery on them and are in good shape. The drivers side door card is worn but the passenger side and both rears look good. The carpet with sound deadener is new as is the headliner.
This car was completed over 12 years ago, driven a bit then stored with other restored cars the previous owner has.. I took the car in trade and then went to work making it a good running street or strip car. The car has power steering and 4 wheel manual disc brakes. I sound proofed the trunk and put a new copy of the OEM trunk mat in it. It is very quiet when driving. There are two fuel pump systems, a mechanical pump and a electric fuel pump mounted outside the tank. Both work. The wiring has been sorted out and all lights and turn signals are working.
The button to go to OD is mounted in the ashtray and the Gear Vendors OD unit has a new electronic box wired in and is working well. This lets you cruise on the highway at a lower RPM with the 4:10 gears. There is a brand new set of Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires on the car. American Racing wheels in 8" width up front and 10" width in back.
there is nothing wrong with this car. I have been through it and have driven it on the highway and around town. It drives well and there are no rattles and the engine idles well and accelerates smoothly. The radio does not work.
There is a Doolittle Bullitt 26' car trailer comes with the car if wanted. The trailer has a shop in the front with winch and dual AC units with a 9600 W generator that is built to slide outside when in use. The trailer has an awning also. It is for sale at $13,000 dollars. The tires are in good shape. I would like to sell this as a unit with both car and trailer if possible.
