1986 Pontiac Grand Prix - Awesome example of a RARE G-body that has been modified with modern comfort and performance in mind! One family owned car (until 2020) that was bought new and driven until 1995, then put into a storage facility. Previous owner bought the car out of California during COVID and shipped to Massachusetts. Odometer then showed 86k original miles and now has 87k. All of the updates and mechanical work was done in the past 2 years and has only been driven about 1,000 miles since. Factory optioned 5.0L-V8 which has been upgraded with a Holley Sniper EFI system, updated electronic ignition system, ceramic headers and custom PYPES stainless dual exhaust. All the mechanics and drivetrain have been gone through and fully serviced, car will go anywhere you need and runs like a top. All the suspension has been replaced with UMI Performance lowering components, CPP tubular A-arms and Bilstein shocks all the way around. The aggresive "pro touring" stance is complimented by a killer set of authentic 17" Cragar wheels with NITTO radial tires. Also nicely equipped from the factory with a 200R-OD automatic transmission, power steering and power disc brakes. Exterior is mostly original paint and shows VERY nice in the factory two-tone scheme of bright silver and charcoal metallic. Vinyl landau roof is in excellent condition as well as the factory removable T-top glass. Bumpers, chrome and trim are all in good presentable condition as well. Interior is very clean and mostly original with correct cloth bucket seats, center console, floor shifter, accessory gauge pods and woodgrain trim throughout. Original steering wheel has been replaced with a small diamter LeCarra and the original radio has been updated with an AM/FM/iPod friendly headunit. All the lights, gauges, buttons, etc work as they should. Underneath the car is super solid and appears to be all original floors, trunk and sheetmetal throughout. Engine bay is nicely detailed with a billet dress-up kit to add a little bling under the hood. This generation GP's are a great bang-for-the-buck and a fun yet affordable way to get into the collector car lifestyle.
