The bike left the factory finished in Pearl Altair White with blue and black graphics, a colorway that was offered for the 1982 model year only. Features include a covered headlight, dual mirrors, and a half fairing with a tinted windscreen as well as a tubular chrome engine guard, a stepped two-up seat, rear grab bars, both center and side stands, and a set of removable and lockable hard-sided panniers.
ComStar cast-alloy wheels measuring 19″ up front and 18″ out back are original and good condition Bridgestone Spitfire tires Air-adjustable suspension is provided by a conventional fork with pressure-equalizing lines as well as an aluminum swingarm and a Pro-Link monoshock with three remotely adjusted rebound settings. The triple-disc braking system includes two-piston calipers at each end, a pair of 276mm ventilated rotors up front, and a single 296mm rotor out back.
This is a very original bike. He has original pipes in excellent condition 15,000 original miles only modifications are alternator upgrade ( have original.) maintained by CBX expert. carbs, rejeted and valves adjusted within the last 1000 miles, rides as it should.
