In late 2016, the car was caught in a major rain event and was subsequently written up as a total loss by insurance company. Thankfully it was purchased by a professional restoration expert at auction who devoted nearly 6 months to meticulously taking the car apart and re-assembling, replacing gaskets and/or potentially water-compromised parts as he went along. With restoration complete, I purchased this car in May 2017 with a Rebuilt Title and have literally never had a single issue with it. It runs like a champion. My asking price reflects the rebuilt title status.

Known issues for consideration:

• Convertible top is fully functional (no mechanical issues) but the fabric is approaching time for a replacement. Not urgent but should be planned.
• The windshield washer pump needs replacement
• Vehicle has an excellent OEM Shaker 500 Stereo system but CD player is not always willing to play the CD. I use the AUX input for streaming music and never think of the CD player.
