Pursuing Perfection has placed this 1936 Chevrolet Custom truck to
a new level.
A classic 1936 Chevy Custom Truck stands out. At a car show in the
midst of hundreds of spectators of custom, pro-street and muscle
cars it's the '36 Chevy truck drawing them in. This is one of the
finest builds of a classic you'll find.
Start with a custom boxed frame painted red. Then go to the
suspension to the upper and lower tubular control arms (chrome)
with coil over conversion double adjustable shocks and springs.
Rack and pinion (chrome) for the power steering. Even the power
steering pump is chrome. In the rear it has leaf's, shocks and air
bags for a fully adjustable ride. Behind the rear license plate is
a trailer hitch. The '36 is set up for towing.
Running a Chevy 350ci dressed to kill with chrome water pump,
alternator, and A/C compressor.Polished finned valve covers and a
matching finned air cleaner. Silver ceramic coated headers feature
lengthened primary tubes for maximum exhaust flow. Polished
stainless 2.5" dual exhaust with side dumps. The rectangular
stainless steel Silverline exhaust tips are the perfect look and
sound. The Turbo 400 automatic transmission and a Ford 9" rear end
with 3.55 gear is ideal for city/HWY cruising. A heavy rear sway
bar to keep you going straight down the road. A fully polished to
mirror finish stainless steel fuel tank. Powered front disc brakes
and rear drums. The Optima battery has been located under the bed.
Riding on Chrome American Racing wheels rapped by Goodyear Eagle GT
tires P195/70R15 front, and P235/70R15 rear.
The cab's interior is done in tan leather, door panels, bench seat,
and headliner. The sound system has a headliner console box. A
Kenwood KMM-BT312U can do it all your choice from Sirius XM,
Pandora, iHeart radio, MP3, WHA, AAC, WAV, FIAC. Tilt chrome
steering column and a leather rapped chrome steering wheel. The
dash holds a 0-160 mph speedometer, amp, fuel, oil and temp gauge
set. This beauty also has tinted power windows.
The '36 has a impressive show quality red paint. All the chrome and
trim have been redone. The bed is lined with stain wood and chrome
strips. The bed has never been used...beautiful. The '36 has a
