Vehicle Description
2003 Harley Davidson FLSTC Heritage Softail Anniversary Classic
About a year ago, in June 2023, the Harley Davidson operations
facility in near to us York, Pennsylvania resumed limited
operations after a shut down a week earlier was forced due to a
parts shortage. Once that was resolved, 1,000 employees went back
to work building America's most iconic motorcycle.
For consignment, an always garage kept 2003 Harley Davidson FLSTC
Heritage Softail Anniversary Classic with a title verified 11,540
actual miles. Born in York, Pennsylvania and wearing a removable
Trigg Trike kit that stabilizes the bike by triangulating the back
end, this configuration is advantageous to new riders, mature
riders, smaller riders, or people with disabilities.
Exterior
The FLSTC Anniversary edition is adorned with Sterling Silver and
Vivid Black two tone paint on the fenders and gas tank. Thick
chrome, studded saddlebags and a leather seat create a substantial
presence and classic Harley lines masking modern technology. A huge
headlight is flanked by passing lamps, each with a Harley logo and
brass wings. They sit above the turn signals and the bike is made
more visible by an amber light posted on the front fender. Large
footrests sit below chrome covers all in great condition. 15-inch
American Racing wheels are on the trike extension while 16-inch
chrome wire wheels occupy the bike itself. Generally speaking,
anything that's not chrome is either polished metal or glossy black
paint, including the trike which is solid black. A 100th
anniversary badge is on the gas tank and Heritage Softail is
spelled out in 3D script on the front fender.
Functionality
A handlebar bag provides some front storage and affords easy access
behind the detachable windshield. Standard functions occupy the
left and right grips, and a large speedometer is provided front and
center over a chrome ignition dial. Below that, a small, studded
leather pouch concludes the features on the gas tank. There's a
rear seat for a passenger who will ride on a stepped-up leather
pad.
Drivetrain
The twin cam 88B, (B for Balanced), is an 88ci V-Twin with
electronic fuel injection and a 5-speed manual transmission that is
belt driven to the rear wheel. It has dual exhaust and for
suspension, a telescopic fork is up front and hidden a monoshock
out back. Naturally, disc brakes are found front and rear.
Almost like having two bikes in one, this Harley with the Trigg
Trike attachment is a stable three wheeler or classic two wheeler.
In either case, it's a special edition Harley to celebrate 100
years of manufacturing in an industry that didn't just create a
mode of transportation, it created an entire culture around a
brand, and this is an astonishing legacy to be a part of. Get your
hands on this low mileage, 2 owner Harley and join the culture
club!
