Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to present this 1993
Cadillac Allante. The Cadillac Allante is a two-door, two-seater
roadster marketed by Cadillac from 1987 until 1993, with just over
21,000 built during its seven-year production run. Since it was
originally designed to compete with the Mercedes-Benz SL and Jaguar
XJS, Cadillac commissioned Pininfarina to tackle the job of
designing the Allante. According to Hagerty, the most notable
improvement to the Allante came in its final year of production,
when the 1993 model received the 4.6-liter Northstar V-8 engine at
a hefty 295 hp and 290 lb.-ft of torque. Enthusiasts rejoiced, as
this was the engine that they felt the Allante should have had all
along. It is worth noting that the 1993 production run of Allantes
was 4,670, which is by far the largest run of the car's history,
almost 25% of all Allantes ever built. This one has its original
red paint and the black top are in great shape. The car will turn
heads going down the road whether the top is up or down. The
bumpers, trim, glass, emblems, & other exterior pieces are also in
good condition. The car sits on its original chrome-plated aluminum
wheels, which are wrapped in radial tires that have plenty of life
in them. With under 59,000 miles, this Caddy has many more miles of
enjoyment to provide its next owner.
