Check out this stunning 1950 Mercury Eight Lead Sled! This
magnificent Mercury is finished in a drop dead gorgeous Emerald
Green Metallic paint, which gives a very rich look to the sexy
lines these Lead Sleds are known for. Wide white wall radial tires
wrap steel wheels with chrome center caps and beauty rings. Fender
skirts, an unchopped roof, and windshield visor finish off the
exterior of this show ready Mercury.
The interior is as clean as they come with custom Green and Tan
ultraleather upholstery with hand painted faux wood trim. On the
dash you will see the Vintage Air A/C and heat controls, an
AM/FM/Bluetooth radio, and the AirRide controller. The install is
very clean and minimalistic as to not detract from the original
beauty of the 1950 Mercury interior. The steering wheel features a
green almost holographic Mercury Man in the center cap, and
matching green on the steering wheel and handle of the column
shifter. This Mercury also has a push button start for a nice
modern touch.
This sleek Mercury is powered by a powerful Cadillac 472 CID V8
engine bored .030 over with a mild Comp Cams camshaft installed.
The shifting is handled by a GM Turbo 400 automatic transmission.
Power front disc brakes, power steering, A/C, and AirRide on all 4
corners make this a dream to cruise. Hit the road with a stock
stance and slam it down low once you get to your destination. Drop
the car and watch the jaws drop as it takes on that slammed lead
sled look! You are sure to have people taking pictures, asking

Everywhere you look there is something else to drop your jaw. Even
underneath where an Art Morrison frame with a 4-link rear end
setup, stout Ford 9" rear end, built in driveshaft loops, tubular
control arms, dual exhaust with Borla mufflers, and rack and pinion
steering make this a next level build!
Under the hood is show ready with a super clean engine compartment
where the 472 is the star of the show. The valve covers and
Cadillac air cleaner are painted to match the exterior of the car,
while the inner fenders are the same beige of the interior and
steel wheels. Everything on this car ties together beautifully. A
Be Cool aluminum radiator looks great and keeps this big block
cool! Headers direct the exhaust gases out through dual exhaust
with a terrific sound. If you're in the market for a one-of-a-kind
