This fantastic 1951 Ford F-1 Pickup Truck restomod contains clever, high-quality details. Beyond the well-patinaed paint finish, this truck has well-thought-out features that include one-piece door glass that replaces the old vented door windows, running boards that have been bent and thinned to run only under the cab, and the taillights have been built into the rear fenders. All the body panels fit well with good gaps, and the hood and doors open and shut as they should. The bed is on a dock board with the battery hidden under an old boat gas tank. The truck has a great low stance thanks partly to Ridler wheels staggered 18 inches front and 20 inches rear. The interior features comfortable bucket seats trimmed in black with buckskin-colored diamond pleated inserts and detail stitching. The door panels have cloth detail trim with a cool retro-style pattern. Other interior details include a patinaed metal dash with classic-looking modern Omega custom gauges, a tilt steering column, a billet steering wheel, a Lokar floor shifter, and seat belts with shoulder harnesses.

Powering this patinaed restomod is a fuel-injected Chevy 350 cubic inch engine mated to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. The engine bay features a serpentine belt, headers, and an aluminum radiator. In keeping with the boat theme of the truck, the air cleaner has been created from an old Johnson Seahorse outboard motor cover. Very cool. This truck drives exceptionally well thanks to a Mustang ll type front suspension with tubular control arms and rack and pinion power steering, 4-link rear suspension, adjustable coil-overs at each corner, and four-wheel disc brakes.
