Vehicle Description
For thirty one years, from 1950 through 1981 Chevrolet built and
marketed the Bel Air as a full size automobile over 8 generations
of major design changes. The fourth generation, also the shortest
run was only built for 1959 and 1960 and the biggest redesign would
be some of the best wings ever to be offered in my opinion. During
this period, the Bel Air, instead of being top of the line, would
take a middle seat and would offer a plethora of body styles
including a wagon. This particular 4-door, 6cylinder, column shift
variant has been owned by the same female owner since she was 16,
she is now 46. This car has been lovingly owned and cared for, for
over thirty years. Other than what I can only suspect as a re-spray
some time ago, the rest of this automobile is extremely original
and very strait. The doors shut really nicely, all the gaps are
nice, it starts easily, is very quiet and smooth, shifts nicely and
goes down the road very well. The interior is what you see in the
pics, its all there, however the seats are torn, door cards are
falling apart etc... All the gauges work, lights work and windows
also go up and down as they should. This would make someone a
really nice starter vehicle to restore or hotrod or use it as is
and enjoy the comfy cruise.
