Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is excited to be able to
offer this 1 owner, unmolested & all original 1970 Dodge Coronet
500 convertible! Rarely do we get an opportunity to offer a time
capsule like this, but this is one of those moments. Purchased new
on 03/23/1970 from Garland Dodge in Dallas, TX (original Bill of
Sale in hand), this Coronet 500 is one of only 67 examples made
with the E63 coded 383CID 4bbl carb engine and TorqueFlight
automatic combo. Also equipped with factory A/C & heat(H51), bucket
seats(D6XW), power brakes(B51), center console(C16), power
steering(S77), a solid-state am/fm radio(R21), Rally wheels with
trim rings(W23) but now with Magnum 500's, wood grain steering
wheel(S81) and the white convertible top(V3W), making this 1970
Coronet 500 an absolute showpiece!Finished in the B5 code Bright
Blue over the white interior & white convertible top with trim code
(D6XW), this Coronet screams 1970 MOPAR! This was a daily driver up
until the mid-90's, when it was packed away and stored until early
2016, when the family decided it was time to dust off the "Windy
Car" as the kids called it and put it in the loving & experienced
hands of David Guzman and his team at The Mopar Shop for a complete
make over. It was returned to the family about a year later for
them to enjoy again, only to be taken back to the Mopar Shop April
of 2024 for a complete going through. The result is what you see
here. This is a very rare opportunity to own a MOPAR time capsule
that would nicely compliment even the most high end collections!
