1967 Chevy C10 long bed that I've daily driven for the last year.
I've driven this thing cross country to Florida and wouldn't
hesitate to do it again. Comes equipped with a 350 small block
motor that hums like a sewing machine on the highway, and spins the
tires with no problem. I had a warrantied TH350 4 speed automatic
transmission with hydraulic lockup installed professionally last
year and have had no issues with it, makes highway driving a
breeze. The entire drivetrain is trouble free, I've driven this
thing hard at 80mph for 6-7 hours a day for a week straight and
never saw the temp gauge past 200. It's been lowered (and well
done) so the ride quality isn't like driving a cloud, but you feel
planted and very much in control. Comes fully equipped with a
modern music system. Has factory AC but it is currently non
operational. Not sure what it would need to get running as I
haven't bothered with it. Also has factory steering assist, though
it does leak from the actuating arm. No other leaks. Never had a
problem with starting either, two pumps on the throttle and it
starts first time every time. The body is in good shape as well, no
real rust to speak of, and only a few minor dents. The biggest
defect is on the top of the tailgate. Beautiful patina all around.
