For Sale: 1960 Chrysler 300 in Russellville, Arkansas

Vehicle Description

This 1960 Chrysler 300F is nearly original with universal maintenance/replacement parts. This beauty has been kept in a garage for most of its life. This is a flagship model from the Chrysler Corporation. Elegantly crafted with high end materials and a high powered engine. This Jet Age American car was built for both luxury and performance.

This 300F introduced a new, higher power 413 cu in (6.8 L) 'wedge' engine delivering 375 HP from the factory. A new, and completely unique "Cross Ram" manifold was used, placing the carbs on each side of the engine. The design was to have a "supercharging" effect in the heart of the RPM range. With tourqueflite three speed push button automatic transmission Making it one of the most powerful engines of its time.

Black exterior, all the sheet metal is original, with no signs of accident or repair anywhere. Chrome is shiny with minor defects.   Special order Solex Tinted Curved Glass Windows.  Four chrome hubcaps with the 300 emblem. The beautiful and stunning Fins start out at the front of the door, outwardly tilting with visible separation from the sides and ending with "V" shaped taillights. The exterior of the trunk features a faux spare tire, complete with hub cap and the 300 emblem.

Tan, black, and chrome interior. Tan and black dash and door panels. Interior door panels are black with tan upholstery, chrome door opener and arm rest, with chrome 300 lettering. Black carpet. Headliner is tan with chrome, housing two dome lights. Soft tan swivel bucket front leather seats. Soft tan bucket leather back seats.

Steering wheel is beautiful. Locking glove box. Astradome instrumentation displays a 150 mph speedometer and the 4 gauges under a large, clear plastic dome. Power antenna. Center console, extending from dash to trunk, is chrome with 2 upholstered console boxes. Ten red, white and blue round 300 emblems are found on the interior and the exterior.

Documented known history since 1980's. Original mileage 86580 (6/22/24). Original owners manual, keys, and keychains with Chrysler logo.  It is 1 of 290 1960 Chrysler 300F cars currently in the Chrysler registry, in any condition.

I would argue that the 300F is the most handsome and desirable of all of Chrysler 300 series automobiles.  This 1960's 300f was built with styling and performance from the factory. As well as, much care and pride in ownership since it rolled off the Jefferson Ave Plant floor in May 1960.
