Vehicle Description
1967 OLDSMOBILE 442 TRIPLE BLACK, REAL 442 WITH A 4-SPEED TRANS.
This is one sharp looking car. Yes it is straight down both sides!
The black paint is like a mirror, with a nice smooth finish. The
front and rear bumpers are shiny. The tail panel is in good shape
along with the emblems and tail light bezels. The door handles and
mirrors are original and show a little wear. The side moldings are
straight and shiny. Up front- the bumper, emblem and headlight
bezels are in nice shape. It has its factory Rally wheels and they
are in nice condition. Looking at the interior- it appears to be
original upholstery and door panels. The carpet and headliner have
been replaced. Looking forward at the dash- it is original and the
lenses are clear. This Olds sports its original steering wheel. The
dash pad is nice, no cracks. There is a Hurst shifter in between
the black bucket seats. It also features front and rear seatbelts.
The engine compartment looks good with its 455 cubic inch motor,
casting number 396021. It has a few performance upgrades: aluminum
intake, dual feed Holley carburetor, chrome valve covers, HEI
ignition and an aluminum radiator. It also features power brakes
and power steering. The trunk is solid and appears to be original.
The trunk features a trunk mat, spare tire and an optional trunk
light. The undercarriage is all clean metal. Looking up at the
motor and Muncie 4-speed manual transmission- they are both clean.
It has boxed-in control arms with a sway bay which look to be
original to the car. It has air shocks and a dual exhaust system
that runs all the way out the back. This is one sharp 442! Turn-key
driver!
