The Shelby GT was a unique model in that, just like the Shelby
Mustangs of the 60s, the Shelby GT's manufacturing was completed at
Shelby Automobiles Inc. in Las Vegas, Nevada after being shipped
directly there by Ford Motor Company. All vehicles received
upgrades including suspension, performance and styling as well as
all vehicles are numbered in this limited production vehicle.The
2008 Shelby GT was engineered for people that put performance
first, said Carroll Shelby. Working with Ford Racing, we created
this Shelby to be an everyday driver that's tuned for fun at the
track. Those who value a well-balanced package will appreciate it.
Those who don't will be left behind staring at its tailpipes. For
2008, the highly-coveted Shelby GT is available in a new paint
combination of Vista Blue with Silver stripes and the choice of two
body styles, coupe or convertible. Shelby GT models begin life as a
specially-equipped Mustang GT assembled at the AutoAlliance
International plant in Flat Rock, Mich. The cars are then shipped
to the Shelby Automobiles facility in Las Vegas for transformation
before delivery to Ford dealerships nationwide. Every Shelby GT is
built to perform and is the result of extensive development.
Aerodynamics were key to sculpting t he powerful, unique front
fascia with an aggressive lower air dam. The hood scoop comes
directly from the famed Shelby Cobra roadster while unique side
scoops are positioned just before the rear wheel arches. The rear
fascia frames dual exhaust tips, and a Shelby badge graces the
trunk lid. The partnership between Ford Racing and Shelby
demonstrates our ability to work together to deliver some of the
most exciting Mustang's ever built, said Jamie Allison, Ford Racing

performance parts for Mustang enthusiasts. The Shelby GT is another
example of how working together, Shelby and Ford Racing are
developing, producing and delivering niche performance Mustangs
directly to the customer. This 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT coupe is
1 of approximately 2,171 examples built at Shelby Automobiles for
the model year, and is finished in Vista Blue with Silver racing
stripes over Dark Charcoal leather upholstery. The car is powered
by a 4.6-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and
was modified by Shelby Automobiles with revised suspension
components and exterior styling as well as a Pro-Cal engine
management calibration, a 90mm air intake, a Hurst short-throw
shifter, and an X-pipe exhaust system with performance mufflers.
Additional features include a limited-slip differential, 18
polished aluminum wheels, air conditioning, cruise control and a
power-adjustable drivers seat. This Shelby GT now shows 16k miles
and is offered with the owners book/manuals, service records, a
clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title with actual miles.The
car is finished in Vista Blue with Silver racing stripes, and
features include Shelby badging, power-adjustable side mirrors,
dual exhaust outlets and rear side window louvers. Shelby bodywork
consists of a revised hood, front and rear fascias as well as a
billet grille insert, hood pins, rear spoiler and side scoops.The
18 polished aluminum wheels are mounted with Brand New 235/50ZR18
Grand Sport tires. The Shelby GT package included Ford Racing
lowering springs, dampers, and front and rear sway bars. Stopping
power is provided by ventilated rotors at each corner.The cabin
features front bucket seats and a folding rear bench trimmed in
Dark Charcoal leather. Amenities include a power-adjustable drivers
seat, a Hurst short-throw shifter, GT-branded sill plates, keyless
entry, air conditioning, cruise control, power accessories, and a
factory in dash head unit with factory optioned Shaker Sound
System.The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 145-mph
speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for fuel
level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The digital
odometer indicates 16,728 miles since new. This vehicle was locally
owned, Adult driven, Extremely well maintained, and traded in at
our dealership on a new Shelby. The 4.6-liter V8 is equipped with
single overhead camshafts and three valves per cylinder. The engine
features a Ford Racing Power Pack that includes a 90mm air intake
with Pro-Cal engine management software as well as a strut tower
brace. Output was rated at 319 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque,
which was an increase of 19 horsepower over the standard Mustang
GT.Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual
transmission and a limited-slip differential with a 3.55:1 gear
ratio. The Shelby GT package included a high-flow exhaust system
with an X-pipe and Ford Racing mufflers that provide better power
delivery and a throaty V-8 exhaust note.This car was recently
