We just picked up our next project from a longtime owner who had been working on this car for quite some time. Actually, it had been a work in progress for the past 20 years. Initially, he was adding onto and rebuilding while he used the car for weekend cruising but most recently,decided to take the car apart to begin a total restoration. He got close but as time went by, he came to the conclusion that he would never finish his project so decided it was best to cut his losses and move-on!He contacted us and we immediately struck up a deal and bought the car.

The car is actually pretty nice and will be an easy and relatively quick restoration.
Best thing and what made this car really appealing to us is that it does run and drive (drove it onto our rollback) and it has a lot of really cool updates and upgrades too like a fresh rebuilt 355 c.i. small block engine, a new 200 R-4 automatic overdrive transmission and a rebuilt 10 bolt posi rear with 3:55 gears.

It also has tubular control arms and 4-wheel power disc brakes and polished Torq-Thrust II wheels as well as a nice black bucket seat with factory console interior with factory staple shifter.

Even the floors, frame and trunk have already been stripped and repainted and look awesome! It does still need some final body work, blocking out, fitting and paint. We decided to paint it base/clear in original "Matadore Red" and adding all new chrome, trim and weather stripping she is going to look awesome!

Look for this car to be done by late spring 2024.
