We just got in this very nice and very well sorted 1937 Ford Tudor
Sedan "Slantback" StreetRod from a longtime friend who
unfortunately decided it was time to sell off his pride and joy. He
owned this car for over 20 years racking up over 17,000 miles and
multiple awards along the way! This car is a proven driver and
multiple show winner! The car had been meticulously maintained and
cared for through-out the years and was stored covered in his
climate-controlled garage. This is the kind of guy/StreetRodder who
had the car NSRA Safety Inspected every year to make sure the car
was good to go and if the car failed or had an issue, he made damn
sure it was immediately repaired and rectified. This car may be an
older build but is still very, very nice and was without a doubt,
very well built. CHECK IT OUT!!
The body is all Ford steel except for the running boards, and it is
all solid as a rock including the floors and frame. There is no
rust anywhere and it is extremely clean throughout! The base/clear
"Electric Blue" metallic paint is absolutely gorgeous. It has very
subtle "ghost flames" painted with a touch of mauve pearl which
accents the interior. It all has a deep luster and an award-winning
show car shine! We just buffed and polished it and added a 1-year
ceramic coating to protect the shine too.
The custom tweed interior is a work of art (back in the day) and
very tastefully done. The front bench seat is very comfortable for
those long cruises and there is plenty of room in the back seat
area too. It has some very nice features too like an overhead
console and vintage "VDO" gauges just to name a few. It also has a
finished-off trunk to match! It is all VERY-VERY NICE!!
Power comes from a strong running good sounding G.M.P.P. (General
Motors Performance Parts) "ZZ4" aluminum headed 355c.i.-355h.p.
small block crate engine. It does have a few nice add-ons like an
Edelbrock "Endurashine" dual plane intake manifold with matching 4
bbl. carburetor, an "MSD" distributor and wires, ceramic coated
headers and all the chrome you could ever want in a show car! It is
backed up by a crisp shifting TH-350 automatic transmission and a
Ford 8" posi-traction rear with a 3:00 gear set. All this makes for
some serious cruising fun!!
Other features include cold "Vintage" air conditioning, power
steering, power disc brakes (front onl
