For Sale: 1969 BMW R60 in Rowley, Massachusetts

Vehicle Description

This 1969 BMW R60/2 shows 41,980 miles on the odometer. The 594cc air cooled, 4-stroke, twin cylinder boxer engine runs well and has been recently inspected and maintained by a well-known BMW shop.

The "slash two" BMW motorcycles where built from 1960 -69 with features including (2) Bing carburetors, a 4-speed transmission, shaft drive to the rear hub, and "Earles Fork" triangulated front suspension.

With a traditional black finish and white pin stripes this R60/2 has the classic BMW look. The frame is solid and there is no deep rust or signs of serious past damage. Under close inspection paint imperfections and very small dents are visible on the tank and fenders. The frame, engine, and body tag have matching VIN numbers (seen in photos).

With a few kicks this BMW comes to a start and smooth idle. All lights, directionals, and horn work properly. This bike is ready to hop on and take for a cruise.

(Legendary Motors LLC advises all future buyers to schedule an appointment and give the motorcycle a personal look or have the bike inspected by a qualified professional. Although we do our absolute best to represent the motorcycle accurately everyone has their own opinion on conditions and ratings.)
