This truck is in original condition except for a paint job in 1999. It has 33305 original miles. The engine is a 266 cu.in. V-8 with a 4 speed manual transmission with the granny gear. It runs and drives, but has sat for the last 8 years. It needs to be tuned up and carb cleaned from old gas. There are some oil leaks due to it's age. The only rust is along the rain channel around the cab. Otherwise the body and cab is solid. The driver's side door glass is cracked. The truck is as close to a barn find as you can get. A perfect project for an original restoration or a resto-mod. See photo's.
I have a clear title and the license plates expired in 2019. I parked it in 2016 because life just gets in the way sometimes. I did try to start it at least once a year and this year it had been 3 years since the last startup. A little charge to the battery and it cranked over and started with full choke on old gas. I drove it around the block. It has a new fuel pump from 3 years ago. Fuel tank is NOT plugging up the fuel filter.
The headliner is missing and the underside of the cab roof is surface rust. The rain channel is the worst of the rust yet still good metal. I have sealed it with Rust-Oleum Rust Stop. This truck was my Great Uncle's and was bought by my dad who sold it to me in 2014. If interested, Make An Offer. No reasonable offers refused. Also open to trades of equal value.
