Vehicle Description

1954 Chevy Delray 210 Deluxe Series Club coupe (2nd owner)

Serious inquires only!!

235 Inline 6 cylinder with a 3-speed manual transmission on the column

CAR HISTORY:  I obtained the car from the original owner’s grandson in which it was left to him in a living trust.

The original owner purchased this car brand new in 1954 I believe at a Bay Area Chevrolet dealership; it was built at the Oakland Ca.GM plant according to the VIN and assembly plant ID numbers. This car was the original owner’s pride and joy according to his grandson, the original owner had the car redone in 2000. The engine and transmission were completely rebuilt, Paint and interior, new clutch, pressure plate, throw-out barring and pilot bussing. Another great feature that was done was that it was converted over from a 6 volt to a 12-volt system, it has an alternator, no generator! It also has a Pertronix electronic ignition, which means “No points” in the distributor. The car has approximately 12.000 miles since the rebuild.

It does not smoke nor leak any fluids, it fires right up every single time even, ZERO Issues, everything works like it did in 1954,

It does have an aftermarket radio and speakers under the dash, “Done tastefully” the original radio is still in place.

NOTE: This car is the real deal!! It’s not one of those internet specials No rust! No rot! It is 100% solid. It has always kept in a garage and covered. The car was in California for 97% of its life. The original owner retired and relocated to Oregon in 1997, according to his grandson, His grandfather started to become ill in 2015 and unfortunately passed away early 2020. In late 2020 the car was transported back to California and passed on to his grandson.

The original owner’s grandson kept it in his garage with a car cover. In early 2023 he fell on hard times; he had no choice but to sell it. He started it and drove it around the block every couple of months. I was told about the car by a mutual acquaintance, knowing the history I purchased the car immediately!

I have done a complete refresh on this car, it pretty much sat for nearly three years prior to me purchasing it, I went through every square inch from top to bottom, front to back!!  I have all receipts and a complete library of pictures and videos of before during after of the refresh.

The car has real side pipes that are connected to a true dual exhaust system, you can remove two chrome caps very quickly for a completely different sound.

Keep in mind, I have over 400 hours getting this car back to its original beautiful looking and running condition. The goal was to keep it as original as possible when conducting the refresh. It runs and drives absolutely amazing!

I’m getting ready to retire and relocate out of California and I can’t take it with me.

Below is just a partial list of some of the items completed during the refresh process.

Again, it is the real deal, no second-rate work has been done in order to get this car to the highest quality, I spared no expense, nor did I jeopardize the quality when refreshing it. I have driven the car about 40 maybe 50 miles since the refresh, I start it once a week for about 10 to 15 minutes. It runs, drives and looks absolutely great! I’ll be happy to send additional pics and videos upon request.
