of upgrades ! ,It arrived from Texas 6 years ago . It is rust free
and has always been garage kept. The All steel wide-body conversion
was professionally done in the early eighty's with the fiberglass
front spoiler and the factory whale tail mounted on a factory 911
SC deck lid. The car has newer tires, brakes, shifting linkage and
was recently serviced, including an oil change. A great time can be
had with this dependable great looking sports car !! The car drives
as you would expect a Porsche 911 would and is a real head turner
anywhere and especially at car shows. Just driven 150 miles , and
it sure is an excellent driving sports car. This early production
'74 911 was originally paint code # 334 Metallic Blue but has been
changed to Grand Prix white #131. . The original 2.7 engine was
replaced in the the late eighties with very clean and strong
running 3.2 Carrera unit with 40mm Weber carburetors complete with
rain shields, K&N filters and fuel pressure regulator and
gauge. The ignition is crank sensor with three individual coils.
The exhaust system is backdated to SSI (stainless steel) heat
exchangers with a dual inlet and single outlet muffler. The
original 915 transmission shifts smoothly. The interior is still
mostly original with standard leather seats, ice original carpet,
and a rarely seen factory adjustable wiper delay rubber knob above
the driver's knee pad. The dash is in excellent condition. with VDO
gauges. The steering wheel was changed to a Fitipaldi "Personal"
unit with a 1981 date code and the radio is an updated Clarion deck
. A 930S console with factory tape holders completes the additions
to the stock interior.
