1983 Zimmer Golden Spirit. Zimmer Motorcars Corporation was founded
in 1978 by Art Zimmer. The Golden Spirit being its flagship model.
They produced only a little over 1500 cars from 1978-1988. This
neo-classic was built by the Zimmer Motor Car Co. at Pompano Beach
Florida. It is not kit car. The Golden spirit was built on a Ford
Mustang chassis and drivetrain. It is powered by a Ford 5.0 V-8. It
has an automatic trans, power seats, brakes, and steering along
with all the rest, as well as lots of chrome. Comfort features
include air conditioning, power windows, power locks power, tilt,
cruise, wood steering wheel and an AM/FM/cassette radio. Designed
to resemble classic cars from the 1920s and 30s however with modern
day comfort features makes this a joy to drive.
