Black (5701) with a Beige (B) interior and is currently finished
with a new German Red interior. It was imported by Hoffman Motor
Corp. in New York, New York, and delivered to the first owner.
Factory options include sealed beam headlights, a Speedometer in
miles, and U.S. Bumpers.
The paintwork is in exceptional condition, with perfect panel
fitment and gaps. The exterior showcases stunning brightwork, new
deco trim, rubber seals, and US overrider bumpers. The interior has
been completely reupholstered, featuring new Red leather and vinyl
surfaces, including front and rear seats, door panels, rear panels,
and dash with oatmeal German square weave carpets, new black rubber
floor mats, and an ivory headliner. Additional features include
restored VDO instrumentation, a VDM steering wheel, and a radio
delete plate. The 4.5" x 15" painted silver wheels are mounted to
Vredestein Sprint Classic 165 H15 tires (date coded 2023). The
undercarriage and suspension have also been meticulously stripped
to steal and detailed to show condition.
Mechanically powered by its matching 1600cc flat-four engine
producing 60 horsepower, with a 4-speed manual transmission. It
runs and drives flawlessly, with a smooth shifting transmission and
a responsive four-wheel drum braking system that has been
completely rebuilt. Complete with Porsche Kardex, spare wheel, tool
kit, jack, and owner's manual. This is an excellent opportunity to
acquire a factory black T2 356A in pristine condition that is solid
and rust-free.
