Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is proud to present this 1930 Ford
Model A Roadster. The Model A was produced from 1927-1931. On the
heels of the ever-popular Model T, the Model A marked its own
success for Ford with almost five million units sold. Consumers
loved the Model A as it was affordable, reliable, and its
eye-catching modern design. Many body styles were offered including
two-door, four-door, cabriolet, and many light- duty truck
variations. Unlike the Model T, four colors were offered. The Model
A was the first car to have a safety glass windshield. This 1930
Ford Model A Roadster has been restored in a classic yellow/ black
paint scheme accented with a tan cloth convertible top and yellow
wire wheels. The interior consists of a brown vinyl front seat,
vinyl floor, and a matching rear rumble seat. Under the hood is a
201 CID L-Head I4 attached to a three-speed sliding mesh manual
transmission. Updated features include a 12v electrical conversion
with updated wiring and new battery location under the hood. A
modern cap, rotor, coil, and ignition wires have been installed to
enhance easier starting and overall reliability. Other features
include a five-blade cooling fan, radiator cap with heat gauge and
brass wings, aftermarket turn signals, and a 150-amp alternator.
