MILES. -The 3000 MK3 Phase 2 was the final and most developed of
the Big Healeys. It offered a luxurious interior with a
walnut-veneered dashboard, easy to use folding soft top, wrap
around windshield glass with roll-up windows, armrest, radio
console, armbars, rear fold down luggage shelf. Mechanical
improvements included a 150 bhp engine with a quieter exhaust
system, raised up and softened rear suspension with trailing arms,
improved centershift gearbox, brake booster with larger front
brakes for a softer pedal feel.-This is a super good, no stories,
well-preserved 3000 MK3 BJ8 Convertible in the most handsome
original color scheme. Excellent cosmetic and mechanical
condition.-Recently purchased from a car collection/estate in
Newport Beach, California.-A tire purchase receipt shows it was
owned by a Mr. Bill Collins in San Pedro, California around 2000
with a recorded mileage of only 29,371.-Excellent quality glossy
paintwork, mostly original great condition chrome. Newer Pilkington
windshield glass. Superb panel fit. Mint condition bodywork with
perfect click-shut doors. Chrome luggage rack. Pair of genuine
Lucas spotlamps. (5) Chrome 72-spoke quality Dayton wire wheels.
