2004 Ford Thunderbird! This sporty roadster comes to us today
dressed in it's original coat of Evening Black factory paint that
is still in excellent condition with only a few miniscule
imperfections low on the front end from having been driven. This
Thunderbird certainly hasn't been driven much though, as the scant
9,762 actual miles on the odometer and the immaculate condition of
the whole car will attest! The front end of the car harkens back to
the look of the 1955 T-Bird with a modest hood scoop, round
headlights, and a low front grille. Just above that bright grille
is a gleaming chrome and turquoise Thunderbird emblem that adds
just the right touch. While most all of the exterior is covered in
glossy black paint, there are some well placed bright accents to
add some extra flair. There is a chrome band surrounding the
windshield, bright V-8 badges on the fenders, bright "Thunderbird"
script emblems on the rear quarters, chrome trim around the
porthole windows on the removable hard-top, and aluminum alloy
factory wheels. Just like the early T-Birds, this car comes with
both a power convertible soft-top and a removable hard-top - both
black. The hard-top does require 2 people to remove, as it weighs
90 lbs. The hard-top comes equipped with rear defrost and a tight
fabric headliner. Around back you'll find round tail lights that
emulate the headlight style, a Thunderbird emblem just like the one
up front, and dual chrome exhaust tips.
Under the hood is a 3.9 liter V-8 that puts out 280hp and 286 ft/lb
of torque - making this one quick little roadster. The engine
compartment is impeccably clean - it looks like it just rolled off
the production line! The V-8 is mated up to a 5-speed automatic
transmission with a manual shifting option and rear-wheel drive.
Stopping power comes from 4-wheel power disc brakes. Open the
drivers' door to reveal a luxurious interior done all in black with
bright accent pieces on the doors and dash. The black
leather-trimmed bucket seats are power-adjustable, heated, and in
excellent condition. The driver is treated to a leather-wrapped
steering wheel with cruise and radio controls that's on an
electronic tilt telescopic column. Creature-comforts and power
options abound with power locks, mirrors,and windows, dual-zone
climate controls with cold A/C, grey-backed instrument cluster with
turquoise gauge needles, keyless entry, security alarm system,
driver's message center, Homelink garage door opener system,
traction control, dual airbags, color-keyed shift knob, and 2
cupholders. Drivers who enjoy their cruisin' music will love the
AM/FM stereo radio with in-dash 6-disc CD changer and premium
Audiophile sound system . Underfoot are carpeted black factory
floormats that keep the fresh black carpet looking nice.
