PRICE LOWERED $3,000
In 1999, I became the 3rd owner of this gorgeous “Arrest”
Red, 1989 Chevrolet Camaro Iroc-Z, with T-Tops. The Camaro has always been in a garage and only driven in the summertime, never in the rain. Mostly highway miles.
I owned the car for 3 years before I had the transmission rebuilt. The shop in Woodbury I took it specialized in rebuilding transmissions in classic cars. They added two more ‘rings’ to the transmission giving it a race car feel.
The radio has been switched out for something more modern with a CD player, in the early 2000s. The face can be removed, it comes with a case.
In 2006, Guzzo's L&R Service replaced the inner and outer tie rod ends. Around 2008, Guzzo's also changed the factory exhaust to dual exhaust with 2 separate chrome pipes. Guzzo's L&R Service did all the major (listed) and minor work and maintenance to the Camaro. He loved this car and was a Classic Car aficionado. This Camaro was a Minnesota car, it was moved down to Springfield, MO in 2012 where it was in my own garage. In 2019, Bear Auto Trim, reupholstered part of the driver’s seat, as there was a factory flaw in the design. It was specially ordered to match the rest of the original upholstery. There is extra fabric leftover.
The condition of the vehicle is very good, definitely an eye catcher! I bought it as a result of a midlife crisis, and when I sit in that car, I am 20 years old again, and nobody can tell me otherwise. I love this car! After being garaged for the winter, I would get in it and start it up and the varooooom from the engine and the smell of the gas got my motor running!!
Be careful when driving this car, when on the highway, because everyone will want to race. I specifically remember that happening to me in the prairies of Canada, but I wasn't buying it.
It is now the time in my life when the 1989 Chevrolet Camaro finds its new home. I know you will enjoy it.
