Funky Ass 61’ IMPALA. 4 door hardtop
This car is hot to go. Slammed on air bags, customer paint job, new interior and retuned engine. Fire burst red over a black base gives it an awesome look in both day and at night it looks almost maroon with no sun. Black roof with hood and trunk stripes flaked with silver metal flakes. Everything inside and out was carefully coordinated with contrasting consideration. From the color of the paint job to the fabric of the interior to the carpet of the trunk. The door handles are shaved and open with a door poppers. New side mirrors, blue dot tail lights, duel back antennas for that classic low rider look and so many other details to list. The body is solid through and through.
The engine 327 runs great, it was taken apart and the whole bay was cleaned and painted. There has been a new starter installed, new drum brakes, new pads and calipers new drums , valve covers, distributor, cap, plugs and complete tune up. I was running straight pipes and it was too loud so I installed cherry bombs to make it livable. Thats the only thing that would fit under the car.
New pioneer blue tooth radio in the glove box! 4 JL audio 6x9, 2 JL audio tweeters and 1 JL audio 10” sub with a 500 w amp. A boss audio capacitor delivering an amazing sound to the inside while nothing rattles on the outside!
I was told that the back passenger side airline needs to be replaced. It’s been stored at my friend’s place for the last 1 1/2 yrs while I’ve been dealing with family issues. Other than that it rides as good as any other bagged car I’ve been in.
The title is salvaged but I had a frame shop inspect it and they said it was not the frame. The car is straight.. and fun as hell to drive.
