What an idea!. combining a passenger car with a pickup. Ford
introduced the Ranchero in 1957, this is a first generation
example. The first generation Ranchero's were produced from
1957-1959. Future generations of Ranchero's were produced in
different variants through 1979 when production for the model
ended, and the Ranchero was replaced with the Ford Ranger.
This Ranchero was long term owned by Mr. D. Nordboe, Council
Bluffs, Iowa. Purchased by its most recent owner collector in 2007,
this Ranchero was fully restored throughout that time. Upon
competition of the restoration, the Ranchero was housed within an
extensive collection at the owners Montana ranch.
Used and enjoyed sparingly since the restoration, this Ranchero has
accumulated approximately 500 miles since restoration. Used as a
centerpiece of the "Ranch" collection, the mileage accumulated was
mostly upon ranch grounds and to exercise the Ranchero from time to
time and special occasions.
This Ranchero has most recently been treated to a complete
servicing throughout to ensure it is ready able to be used and
enjoyed immediately.
