1986 Chevrolet Silverado shortbed - Awesome example of everyone's favorite shortbed Chevy with tons of character and nicely optioned from the factory with a loaded SPID card still in-tact! Original 1-family owned truck (until 2023) purchased new and special-ordered in 1985 at Smith Chevrolet in Stevenson, Alabama. Nicely documented southern history with a plethora of original dealer paperwork, ownership records and original Alabama title. Truck has tons of "cool factor" with 38 years of patina, retaining all of it's original two-tone paint and rock solid sheetmetal from front to back. Cab, cab corners, floors, bed, frame, etc all appear to be original and are all rust-free with no issues anywhere. The overall look is nicely complimented by a custom set of staggered 20" Billet Specialties polished aluminum wheels. Interior has been completely replaced with a full kit in Burgandy tones throughout including correct bench seat, door panels, dash pad, carpet, etc. Fully equipped with lots of desireable Silverado options such as power windows, power locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, Delco AM/FM radio, rear cargo lamp and COLD A/C! The engine bay and underside have been fully detailed and looks like new, giving a whole new meaning to the old saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover".
