Vehicle Description

This 1961 Nash Metropolitan Convertible will be presented for sale at our Classic Car MarketPlace held at the MSRA Back to the Fifties Car Show, June 21-23, Minnesota State Fairgrounds. This car show features over 10,000 classic cars every year. More information at msrabacktothe50s.com

Purchased by the sellers in 2005 from restorers Percy & Ruby Schultz of Vadnais Heights, founding members of the Nash Metropolitan Club of Minnesota (“Mets from Minn”). Driven regularly during the Minnesota driving season ever since, and always garage stored, either at home, or indoors at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in the wintertime. This car was featured in the 2014 and 2018 Excelsior MN Concours d'Elegance car show.

  • It has been displayed each year at the Back to the Fifties car show in St Paul, Minnesota
  • It is a regular favorite at the Minnetonka Drive-In restaurant on ‘Thursday old car night’.
