This generation is commonly referred to as the "solid-axle" generation, as the independent rear suspension did not appear until the 1963 Sting Ray. Frame-off restored back in the 90's. It runs and drives VERY nicely. The body is in excellent condition. It has both the NEW convertible top and the original hard top. The engine has been gone thru professionally, but the transmission is solid and has not been gone thru. NO NEED. Pictures show the frame-off process. The chrome was all re-done in Winnipeg, Manitoba at "The House of Silver". The engine bay is very nice with a stock look. Original air cleaner, expansion tank, and a carb that has been coated to the right luster. It has had the radiator gone thru last year (2023) -- with a new core--and it also, at that time, had a new speedometer cluster and tachometer. They work nicely. Nice wheels and tires with original hub caps. It has a new fuel tank and sender. Gauges work. It has a new exhaust system along with a new brake system. It has always been garage kept and has not driven in the winter. This car is truly a collector's item for the person that wants to invest in something that will CLIMB in value.
