Vehicle Description
The 1967 Pontiac Firebird was Pontiac's entry into the pony car
wars. Pontiac actually started developing the Firebird late,
relative to the Camaro, and it did not debut until five months
after the Camaro was released. While the Firebird was based on the
same chassis as the Camaro, Pontiac did everything it could to
differentiate the Firebird from its Chevrolet sibling. Pontiac's
choice of Firebird engines helped a lot in this regard.

This 1967 Pontiac Firebird Hardtop Sport Coupe is finished in its
original color of Linden Green with a black vinyl roof and deluxe
black vinyl interior. Spending several years in California would
rationalize the clean body panels and underside. The Linden Green
paint shows very well but it does have a few of the typical nicks
and dings associated with a car that has been driven but cared
for.
Although remaining original in character this 1967 Firebird has
been mechanically updated for a more modern driving style with
front and rear suspension upgrades as well as braking and steering.
The 326 cubic inch H.O. motor comes to a quick start and runs
smoothly throughout the gear range.
The deluxe black vinyl interior with Strato bucket seats and center
console shows well and predominantly stock, with the addition of
auxiliary gauges and under dash lights. The stock appearing AM
radio features Bluetooth compatibility.
Looking out the front windshield and seeing the hood mounted
tachometer you immediately know that you are in an American muscle
car, turn the key and listen to the rumble of the dual exhaust and
it only confirms your first thoughts. If you are looking for a
well-sorted muscle or pony car with performance upgrades this is
the car for you.
