Only three (3) owners from new with unbelievable performance, it is
truly a remarkable 944 Turbo to drive! Finished in Alpine White
with a Black partial leather interior. This is an all-original 944
Turbo in mint condition with original paint and interior. A few of
the options include a Blaupunkt Reno SQR46 AM/FM stereo with a
cassette player, power mirrors, power windows, automatic climate
control, and a removable/power tilt sunroof. The air conditioning
system blows ice cold. Factory 16" Turbo Phone Dial rims (7" front
and 8" rear) are mounted to new Michelin Pilot Sport (205 55 ZR16
front and 225 50 ZR16 rear) All Season tires; date code 01/24.
The 944 Turbo was launched in January 1985, with production ending
in 1989. It is the top-of-the-line model in the 944 family. With a
near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution, the 944 proved to be a
competent entry-level GT that was just as exciting to drive as it
was to admire. These were fast cars for the era, with 0-60 times in
the six-second range and a top speed in excess of 150 mph.
The first owner was from Ballwin, Missouri, who purchased the Turbo
on November 9, 1987, and the title was issued on December 28, 1987.
Over 16 years, the Turbo was only driven 41,000 miles before it was
stored in a climate-controlled garage from 2003 to 2017. On April
27, 2017, the second owner had a full service done by Reid Vann
Import Specialist in Rock Hill, Missouri. This included a new fuel
pump, fuel filter, DME relay, fuel tank sending unit, and changed
oil and oil filter. The timing belt was replaced, along with the
camshaft belt roller, balance shaft roller, flange gasket, timing
belt rollers, thermostat kit, seal, balance shaft tensioner,
crankshaft seal, and drive belt.
The third owner from Newport Beach, California, was on a business
trip in St. Louis, Missouri, just before the 4th of July in 2017.
He had dinner with the second owner (a personal friend), not
knowing that he had the 944 Turbo that he was getting ready to
sell. After seeing the 944 Turbo the next day, after a month, the
third owner decided to purchase the Turbo in September of 2017.
Over the past seven years, the third owner has meticulously
maintained the Turbo, and it has always been garage-kept. The air
conditioning was completely gone through by D&S Auto Air,
including a new compressor, drier, and pressure switch, and the
climate control unit was rebuilt. A new radiator and thermostat
were installed while the air conditioning was being repaired. In
2019, new Koni adjustable front sport struts and rear sport shocks
were installed. In June of 2023, Comeau Racing Enterprises in San
Diego, California, performed a major service, including the
replacement of the timing belt, counterbalance shaft belt, 4
rollers, auto tensioner, front main seal, oil pump O-ring, oil pump
drive sleeve, the cam housing, engine mounts, and sway bar
bushings. New spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, engine
oil, and oil filter were also replaced, and $4,838 was spent.
Recently, in 2024, a new Porsche windscreen, Interstate battery,
speakers, an O2 sensor, and four new Michelin Pilot Sport All
Season 4 tires were installed.

all the gears perfectly, and it has a four-wheel disc braking
system. Acceleration is 0-60 mph in 6.1 seconds, and a top speed is
152 mph.
