Volkswagen Beetles have been a hit since becoming popular in the
60's and for good reason!
Volkswagen made minor changes for the 2008 year other than changes
in options and the renaming of trim levels. The 2008 Volkswagen
Beetle Convertible SE comes equipped with the 2.5L inline-5 that
makes 150hp and 170 pounds-feet of torque and this example works
with a six-speed automatic that has a manual-shift provision.
Nothing else on the road looks like the modern-day Beetle. Finished
in Salsa Red with the black convertible top, Beetle's turn heads
and create conversation wherever you go! With a fresh set of tires,
this Beetle is ready!
Much like the original Beetle convertibles of the 1950s to 1970s,
the modern-day model has a fabric top that rests on the back of the
car; it doesn't fold into the body. This Beetle rocks a brand new
top with less than a couple hundred miles.
Another boasting point with the 2008 Beetle is its 4-out-of-5 star
overall crash test safety rating. Side-impact airbags, a tire
pressure monitoring system, antilock brakes and daytime running
lights are standard.
A passenger rear window regulator has been has been installed and
the rear window now operates as it should.
