Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present
this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette. Restomod, that is the theme here.
looks old but the mechanical systems on this car rival the newer
Corvettes. The first thing you notice when walking up to the
classic is the paint, my eyes still hurt from looking at it. The
pearl white looks so deep you want to dip your finger in it, but
looks are only skin deep so my Mama told me. Now i wonder why she
always said that?Under the hood, you'll find without much looking a
6.2 liter LS3 V8 engine. Known for instant horsepower, great fuel
economy and incredible longevity these LS3 V8s are finding their
way into all kind of classics. This powerful motor, coupled with
the 4L60E, 4 speed automatic transmission, ensures smooth,
effortless driving whether you're navigating city streets or
cruising on the open road. Now to handle the power that flows
through the transmission a Ford 9 inch rear axle was chosen, this
houses a 3.50 gear set and it held firmly in place with a four link
suspension and adjustable coil overs.the stopping is handled by
Wilwood master cylinder and 4 wheel disc brakes. This car is ready
to drive, it performs and handles like a late model but if you
prefer, you can park it in the garage and look at itThis Chevrolet
Corvette stands on sleek aluminum US Mags rims 17 inch in the front
and 18 inch in the rear for a killer stance and a small tub was
needed to house the 305/35-zr18's. These aluminum wheels are not
only aesthetically pleasing, but they also contribute to the
vehicle's overall performance by reducing the unsprung weight and
providing better driving characteristics. This 1964 Chevrolet
Corvette is a brilliant blend of elegance and power, new and old,
offering a driving experience that is as exceptional as the car
itself. With its combination of classic styling and modern
features, this is a classic that you could drive everyday. You have
wanted a Corvette for sometime, you just have to ask yourself, if
not now,,when?Sale held pursuant to permit No. 19289 of department
of licenses granted the 14th day of August 2015.
