1981 was the last year of production for the second-generation
F-body. The Trans Am was about the coolest car on the streets back
then, however the 4.9-liter Turbocharged engine did not deliver the
reliability and performance that defined the Trans Am in previous
years. These issues have all been corrected in the best possible
way in this exceptional 1981 Turbo T/A, now fitted with a modern
performance engine.
This Trans Am has been totally restored to a high standard.
Refinished beautifully in its original color of Dresden Blue with
correct reproduction hood graphics and Trans Am lettering, this
iconic Pontiac is also fitted with hard-to-find period-correct rear
glass louvers and desirable optional smoked glass T-Top removable
roof panels. A high-quality set of restored, factory 15x7 WS6
Snowflake wheels with correct lug nuts and center caps are wrapped
with 225/70R15 Turbo-Tech GT Radial tires enhance the look of this
classic Bird.

The optional deluxe interior is restored with correct and
comfortable blue velour upholstery. This highly-optioned Pontiac is
loaded with comfort and convenience items that include power
windows, power locks, tilt steering column, upgraded Vintage Air,
vintage Jensen stereo and digital gauges that glow in a blue color
that look cool set in the factory housings mounted in the original
engine-turned dash face.
Power and performance are provided by a potent LS3 crate engine
paired the a TH350 automatic transmission. The engine bay is
super-clean with an aluminum radiator with electric fan. Factory
WS6 package 4-wheel disc brakes bring this powerful car to a stop
quickly and safely. A large stack of receipts come with the car
documenting the extensive restoration and upgrading work performed
on this Tran Am.
