Land Rover was building very capable off-road vehicle well before
they came into the North American market with their fancy soccer
mom SUV's that had a 1% chance of leaving the asphalt roads of
suburbia. The first generations of the Series I, II and III are
considered by many to be some of the most proficient on the
two-track or off road terrain.
Available for your consideration is this very clean and well sorted
1966 Land Rover Series II with just 38k KM showing on the vehicle.
Refurbished out of Costa Rica and brought into the USA about 2
years ago and has a clean Michigan title. Interior was custom made
with a front bench seat and dual rear jump seats that can
accommodate 7 total people. Front seats have seat belts and the
driver seat has been modified to allow a larger or taller driver to
have more comfort.
Vehicle is fitted with the gas engine setup and can cruise at
50-60mph in two wheel drive and riding on the larger 16in wheels
with BFGoodrich K02 tires. This vehicle has only been driven 2-3k
miles since the completion and remains in very nice condition with
a functioning soft top that can be rolled up on the sides and rear
to give you the open air feeling or just remove the entire top for
the ultimate safari setup.
