One of the most challenging aspects of restoring a vintage Chevy is the recreation of the body sub-frame, which is fashioned out of oak and ash. This example of course has been precisely fitted with all new wood.
The Chevys robust “Stovebolt” six cylinder engine and three speed manual transmission have been completely rebuilt, along with the rear differential.
