Vehicle Description
"The 1967-1969 Plymouth Barracuda models were great looking
automobile designs. Some automotive historians said at the time
that the newly designed Barracuda had an Italian-influenced look
that many really liked and enjoyed driving. The Barracuda models
introduced a combination of sporty looks, high performance, good
handling, and room for four. It was manufactured as a coupe,
notchback, fastback, and a popular convertible body style as well."

This 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible is finished in Dark Red
Metallic with a red vinyl interior and white convertible top.
Originally powered by a 273 cubic inch motor, this Barracuda has
gotten an upgrade and is now powered by a 318 cubic inch motor. The
318 is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The car also has
such features as power steering and brakes as well as a power
operating roof.
This Barracuda has a documented mechanical refresh in 2012 and
again in 2015 when taken over by the current ownership. The paint,
although older, still maintains a good shine, although it does have
imperfections as well as the typical dings and scratches that would
be associated with a 20 plus year-old paint job. Records indicate
the convertible top was installed in 2009, it remains in good
condition but has a damaged rear window zipper that needs to be
replaced.
There is plenty of power generated from the 318 cubic inch motor
that comes to a quick start and smooth idle. It does smoke somewhat
during acceleration which can be seen coming out the rear
exhaust.
Looking for a convertible or just something fun to drive over the
summer months, this is the car for you. Doubtful you will pass by
another 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible; it is said only 4228
were produced for 1967.
