This Rolls Royce Silver Shadow was purchased from its first
registered owner by well-known automobile collector, Mr. Gil
Nickel. Mr. Nickel was not only known for his superb car
collection, but also for his exceptional wines produced by his
California vineyard, Far Niente. Mr. Nickel kept this Silver Shadow
within his Napa Valley collection for many years, using and
enjoying it for touring pleasure in and around Northern California
and its wonderful scenic roads. After many years of ownership, Mr.
Nickel sold the Silver Shadow to good friend and vintage racer, Mr.
Joel Finn. At that time, the Rolls was brought to the East Coast to
be housed with Mr. Finn's collection. This time to be enjoyed for
country touring in and around his CT residence. Upon Mr. Finn's
passing, this Silver Shadow has been kept in the family ownership,
used sparingly by his wife Ann and serviced yearly to keep in its
current excellent condition throughout.
This Silver Shadow is not the norm as many have not been cared for
as such. This Silver Shadow is excellent in every way, turnkey and
ready used an enjoyed immediately.
